La Meccanica’s horizontal hammer mills

The horizontal hammer mill is the fundamental design used for primary size reduction of grain, corn, soya bean and materials for energy purpose, such as sawdust or straw.

La Meccanica’s hammer mills are characterized by:

- Heavy duty construction

- Direct coupling of rotor through an elastic coupling

- Bidirectional rotation

- Rotor with dynamic balance

- Screen that can be manually withdrawn from the side of the mill

- Temperature sensor PT 100 monitors bearing temperature

- Access door to the grinding chamber is equipped with a safety block system.

Each hammer mill is supplied with a screen, a set of hammers, elastic coupling and vibration absorbers.
