Collaboration with Georgia Southern University
In February, Herty AMDC (Advanced Materials Development Center) opened the first “fully-integrated pilot pellet mill” in the US, making it available to Georgia Southern University.
The meeting at Herty, Savannah, laid the foundations for important collaboration: having complementary interests, La Meccanica decided to explore opportunities to gain mutual benefits in the pellet producing sector.
The company is therefore reaching an agreement in which Herty will provide La Meccanica with concrete support for research, aimed at innovating and making the latest technologies available, whereas La Meccanica will offer its expertise and know-how concerning machinery, production, production facilities design, construction and operations.
