CRUMBLER C1.350.CE: high performance at a competitive price

The Crumbler C1.350.CE arises from the need to increase the potential of the range of crumblers that we produce. This new solution is intended to maintain the production capacity of a double crumbler with rollers diameter 250 mm and length 1800 mm, with a spring-mounted system that protects them if any foreign bodies (max. dimension 20 mm) should enter during the feeding stage.

The rollers can be adjusted in distance from 0 to 3 mm using servomotors. The distance between the rollers is monitored by means of a potentiometer connected directly to the screws that adjust the distance between the rollers.

One advantage worthy mentioning is that the belt drive, which considerably reduces noise and increases machine reliability compared to traditional gear-drives, also reduces maintenance times, since replacement and belt tensioning is performed by a fast, simple and safe system.

One of the critical points during machine operation is the possible entry of foreign bodies during the feeding stage. In this case, the type of drive unit allows the belts to slide, thus avoiding any gear meshing problems after this occurrence. This means less chance of damage to the machine if this should happen. Moreover, the increased diameter of the rollers and the high power of the motor (37 kW) facilitate easier removal of any foreign bodies from the feed supply.

A further advantage of this machine is that its size is more compact than the overall dimensions of a double crumbler: this feature increases the ratio between hourly production and overall dimensions. The machine structure has been further strengthened. In addition, its sturdy supports and top-quality bearings ensure high performance throughout the entire life cycle of the machine.

With the afore-mentioned characteristics, the C1.350.CE crumbler is a machine with a lower price but it offers performance, quality and efficiency equal or superior to a double crumbler.
