EXPO 2015

Why is a company that has been designing and producing machines for the animal feed sector for over 50 years connected with the Expo 2015 slogan “Feeding the Planet”?

- it is part of the food supply chain

(for animals), producing systems and machines for animal feed;

- it has a role in the green economy, producing systems and machines for the

biomass sectors, fertilizers and recycling

- it focuses on the environment, with its 5 eco-sustainable production lines - it is aware

of its social responsibility as a company, which results in a series of

projects focusing on the territory, research, innovation and the

training of young people

This is why we have developed a project that promotes the Veneto region – and the  Cittadella area in particular, where La Meccanica has been based for over 50 years – through the discovery of a cutting-edge company that is perfectly established in its territory, and through the awareness of the vast culture and culinary tradition of the Veneto region.
La Meccanica intends to organise a visit to the company for its Agents, Distributors and Customers, followed by one or more “tours” to the places associated with it, which are little known for tourism but have much of interest to offer, especially in terms of their culinary tradition.
 All the proposals include tasting one or more local food or wine products.
