On the occasion of the Fair and Festival of Forests held in Longarone on 14 and 15 September, the Res4carbon Project will be presented. The appointment is for Saturday 14 at 14.30, when, during the conference "Energy from forest biomass - Certification, sustainability, air quality and good practices", you will be able to attend a speech on "Residues of the wood energy chain to give more value and carbon to composted soil improvers - Res4carbon Project ”.

The final result of the project will be to define the best practices to guarantee the maximum technical-economic and environmental efficiency in the process of processing, handling and logistics of the transport of waste for the production of a new concept amendment, the CEBIOCARB, consisting of the mixing of virgin wood chip wood under-counter, post-gasification biochar of wood biomass and post-combustion ash from wood biomass.

At the same time the project also plans to test the possibility of producing different types of soil improvers obtained from the composting process of the aforementioned residues mixed with urban-derived organic waste such as FORSU and vegetable waste, to identify the best solutions in terms of increase of return to the soil of organic carbon to favor the greatest possible absorption of the same by the plants.

At the stands of the Consorzio Imprenditori Forestali Triveneto CIFORT and Confagricoltura, both partners in the initiative, it will be possible to receive information material. For more information: www.res4carbon.com.
